After a short excursion into the world of rollerderby posters and art prints I’m working on a new gigposter again. I’s for my DJ-Team Shake it Wild and I had the films for this print lying around in the studio for some years now. The reason for not printing it earlier was, that the copy shop that prepared the films scaled them too big (the poster will be 100x35cm) and I was too lazy to print such a big piece. Anyhow, now I felt confident that I can manage and started working on it yesterday.

Since we switched from oil-based to water-based colors we were looking for neon colors that really pop and it seems that we finally found a solution to that problem. We bought pigment powder and mixed it with screenprinting-paste and it looks amazing! So one color (pink) is down and the screens are ready for the second run, which will be bronze. I hope to find some time to continue this weekend. More soon!
